Lil' Kat is bringing coleslaw for Saturday evening IF there is going to be a pot luck. If not, we will be eating lots of coleslaw!

We will have 4 people total at the track. How many will be there for a pot luck?

I am guessing we will have 30 total. But make slaw for 10. If everyone makes food for 30 we will be eating for a week.

My group will be 6 plus your 4 and we are a 1/3 of the way to 30.

We need a couple to bring a main dish. Chime in if you are going to be at the potluck and what you are bringing.

I will update the first post with the list.

I'm still good for ~ 40 hot dogs and ~ 15 burgers or so. I'll pack condiments, buns, etc as well. Probably be there tonight around 8:30 to 9PM, please save a spot!

Thanks Steve, that should be plenty.

My crew guy caught a salmon today so we should be able to slice up some sushi tomorrow too.

Sitting in line now waiting for them to open the gate.

We will do our best to save you a spot.

Hey guys, I just want to say what a great time Kim and I had this weekend at Laguna. The racing was incredible and the new friends are even better! Putting faces and cars to the names I've seen here and getting to know the people behind those names and numbers is what it's all about.

Thanks go out to Charlie who snuck us Laguna rookies out on track after dark to do a track walk with a running narrative of how to drive it. It proved very helpful but also very intimidating! The price of a small misstep can be big at this place, just ask Jim F.

We enjoyed meeting Everett, Jeff, and Jim(the other one) and their entourages, and look forward to hanging out with them again at Miller and hopefully other California races. I have a feeling Everett's son will soon be pulling into grid with us and smoking us all!

I'm in the middle of doing a writeup from my perspective but just have to say that the racing was very fun and exciting. It hit me sitting in impound, waiting to be weighed(which I cleared by only 3lbs!) that I'm here with the cream of our sport and what an honor it was to finish fourth behind Charlie, Norm and Steve on saturday, and Jim Foxx, Charlie and Norm on sunday! Of course I would have enjoyed it better from a podium view but maybe next time.

I especially want to thank everyone for letting me race sunday after my "medical" drama. My embarrassment is HUGE but the support I got from everybody meant a lot and I would have been bummed if I missed sundays inverted grid race!

Thanks and I'll see everyone at Miller!
Ron

p.s. Jim R, we did touch mirrors! I didn't know about it but the video shows your mirror being folded in by mine but there is no marks anywhere on my car
