I got there a little before 9:00AM.
No killer deals but a lot of nice cars parked all around.
A guy was asking $500 for a set of cookie cutters, way too much.

Makes me EXTRA thrilled with my set I got for $80! haha

I just picked up a 1986 944 in Calistoga yesterday for $300...with a set of spares (2 cookie cutters + 2 phone dials). It has engine problems, but we are going to swap the engine and use it for the "24 Hrs of LeMons" at T-Hill in December.
You guys should do it too! We can pit together.

Hi Jeremy,

I think you guys got a great price on the #66 car even minus the engine.
If the cage is NASA legal it could even be a low cost 944-SPEC car.

We're still thinking about the LeMons. The December LeMons race is right between X-mas and New Years which is a busy time with family. It's also usually cold and wet at T-hill and we'll have to retrofit the Fish out of Water car with running lights which is not required at Altamont.
